Sal Bando Goes to Artscape

103_0004
One day Sal Bando went to Artscape.

103_0003
They saw lots of flags

103_0020
and decorations in the sky.

103_0006
They saw human foosball

103_0005
and crowds of people.

103_0002
Hannah Brancatto was there too.

103_0022
Then they played a sweet show.

103_0011
Dave Sal Bando* had a really good time!
*I just learned that he's AKA "Baby Puppy."

103_0046
Cris Sal Bando jammed, but he was a little worried about John's tiny head taking a bite out of his shoulder.

103_0027
John- they are calling you home. Beam him up!

103_0043
The crowd was captivated. (Bonus points if you can find Brian Dubin!)

THE END

p.s. I didn't have wireless at my hotel in Canada, thus no fitzbomb last week. I got some good shots of historic stuff and of the contest that my 6 year old niece and I had to see who could put her whole fist in her mouth.

see you soon!

Gang Intervention

Here we come...

This is the gang that I joined on Friday after the Cold Cold Heartbreakers show. We're tough. Initiation was pretty brutal.

Aside from all the gang-related activities that I have this week (mani/pedi, hair braiding, etc.,) I'll be workin' like a mammer jammer to save up the bills for my vacay next week. After a quick pitstop @ ArtScape to see them Sal Bandos, I'll be hoppin' a plane to Canada for a week. Gonna be pretty sweet, eh.

See you soon,
Fitz

Happy Birthday Fauv-dog!

Dear Fauver,

I have a way gay-er photo of you and I will post it when I get my scanner hooked up.
Happy Birthday!

I'm going to be at Rocket later on tonight taking pics, so if you want to be in the Fitzbomb revival, come on out.

Just time for a quickie...

toof

As many of you may or may not know, I somehow managed to live in the same apartment for ten years. On Sunday I left the keys to the old place on the mantle and took one final look around the spot where I lived through my 20's. Sitting above the kitchen sink were the gold fronts that I found one early Sunday morning on the corner of Greenmount and 32nd.

I had always planned on turning them into one sweet, sweet necklace.

Feeling that this object somehow defined the era of my time in that apartment, I left it there, sort of a "to my homie," the apartment.

I'm moving onward and upward, but that place sure saw some times.

Peace and see ya later,
Fitz

Son of a Beach

DSCN3589

Since I'd never actually made it on the beach in the 3 other times that I'd been to OC, we decided to start our weekend sandy.

gabbs3
After the boys recovered from their cheerleader-style man-pyramid Matt poured out some High Life to his girl Farrah Fawcett. This has been a hard week for him...

While Shelley and I laid on the beach there was more bro-ing down including bodysurfing and

wipeouts.

DSCN3601
This all made us really hungry! We went to Bellybusters and Geoff smoked a crab. Sweet.

DSCN3603
Don't be crabby!

DSCN3619
After some sweet time spent springbreaking at Seacrets we went to Peppers for the show. By this time I'd had some margaritas. Somehow (?) I didn't photograph any of the bands until the end. Thinking I was taking a pic of Shelley and I, the camera actually might have been facing the wrong way and I got a band shot.

DSCN3621
Then I remembered and got a shot of Matt and Fauver.

Lots of buddies came to the show including this blast from the past,

Life is a Beach

DSCN3587
Ocean City 4th of July weekend was pretty sweet. I almost have enough freckles to make it look like I have a tan. Last count: 2,497,341. Speaking of numbers, I also found out this weekend that Fauver is 473 months old. Huh, go figure.

This pretty much sums up how much fun we had.

And so does this... although, oddly enough, I think there was some tickling going on here as well.

I have lots more photos from the trip. Come back tomorrow and check 'em.

Peace,
Erin

Summer time, summer time, sum sum...

yardsale

It sure has been a while... I know that you probably won't believe me, but I'm bringing back Fitzbomb.

"Yeah, yeah," you say.

Yeah, I know. I sure did flake for a while, but the summer time brings so many good photo opps (tans and short shorts abound) AND I finally have an internet connection. I'm like a real live grown up. I now have an office and live in a big girl house.

new house2 An office shot, the "buddha room"

Yep, after 10 years in the old place, I've finally moved on. It's the end of an era. The things that went down in that place...

Anyway, I figure that I should start things back up with a bang. What better way can I do that than to take a 4th of July trip to Ocean City with half of Baltimore's band members and party characters, and photograph the whole occasion for you? It sounds like trouble, but I have to win you back some how.

So, here's to Fitzbomb in the summer. See you with some hot shots after a brief recovery from the weekend. Let's say... Tuesday.

Fitz
