A lot of people have been asking me how the H&M contest, Your Art Here, turned out...it's a case of close, but no cigar. In the end, I ranked 21st out of 783 entries. I'll still take a little pat on the back since I didn't get into the contest until there were only 8 days remaining (out of 30) to generate votes, just sayin'. Now that I'm out, I'm hoping that fellow Baltimore artist, Jim Lucio, who did make it into the top 10, turns out to be the big winner.
For now, I'll be sitting in my newly cleaned and rearranged studio deciding on my next move. I have a couple paintings in the works and a couple planned, but the next big show is something I haven't figured out yet...
In other news, I had a blast hanging out at Baltimore's Sticky Rice on Friday night, and I just happened to take a ton of photos, so stay tuned... I'm sure there will be a bunch of Halloween related blogs in your future as well. You know me, sometimes I'm all post, post, post, and other times I go like two weeks and then come back with a blog that's all, "sorry I haven't posted in a while, I've been blah, blah, blah." That's just how I roll.
I'll see you later, maybe tonight, maybe tomorrow. Who knows?!
