Flying Dog Filmmakers Spotlight Presents: Hilton Carter!

41786_152623181426137_9338_n

I love when my people do big things. It's way more important to me to bro down with productive, artistic "do-ers" than just social scene makers. By far. Hands down.

As it goes, I find myself once again throwing props to my buddy and film maker, Hilton Carter. I invite you to join Hilton, Fitzbomb, and various other movers and shakers tomorrow, Thursday September 30th for Flying Dog Brewing Company's Filmmaker's Spotlight Presents: MOTH, a film by Hilton Carter.

Must be at least 21 to attend.
$15
Doors at 7(until 11pm)
tickets may be purchased ahead of time at www.flyingdogales.com

This event is sure to be super hot. Maybe I'll see you there.

Until next time,
-Fitz

Comfortable, but Classy

I prolly shouldn't even draw your attention to this, but my home girl Charisse sent me this link today and I was gonna DIE (not really, totally cool with attention.) I was a little (eh-hem) Lindsay Lohan-ed out (minus the amphetamines and such)after a wedding and I forgot I got papsed!

The totally funny part is that I called my style "comfortable, but classy." Hahahahahahah. I would never say that, but it's real funny. Anyhoo, I did a joke on me. I thought I'd share. Here's one with the ladies before things got too outta hand.

Oh, end of summer fun...now you know why I stay in and paint. Thanks to the Urbanite for including me in Pop Flash! (Next time my face won't be so droopy and I'll be better behaved. Promise!)

Love you,

New In-Progress Painting: Kate Davies

IMG_5326
SOLD

I have a few paintings going right now, but I've been spending the majority of my time over the past two weeks working on this piece. I recently met Kate and her husband when they were vacationing in the states (via London.)I'm hoping to finish this painting by Monday at the latest, so it has plenty of time to dry before being shipped overseas.

Hope y'all have a great weekend. Maybe I'll see some of you around.

Here are the last of the Hampden Fest pics. It was a pretty fun day. The best part was when I met teen wolf. That was super sweet. Still can't believe it. Other than that, there were buddies, beers, and beards, Sal Bandos, and sunburns. Who could ask for more?

Tomorrow I'll post a new in-progress painting. I'm also looking for a new place to show the next body of work. I wouldn't mind doing something outside of Baltimore. If you have any suggestions, send them my way. If you are related to the gallery space, it is likely that I'll paint you and some of your people for the show. JS, just sayin'.

Aight, son. I'm Out. 'Til next time....

Dear buddies,

I hope you're having a nice transition into fall. Mine? Well, it's been super swell. The rest of my month has something to do with this...wedding on Saturday (open bar... What? What?,) Orioles game on Sunday with my homie Kat from Gilah Press and Design, NYC for Pavement in Central Park, and Ocean City for the rest of the month. The good life? Good enough.

***Side note***
My bf just ate 3 hotdogs at 1:30 am. Barftastic? He doesn't think so.

The photos above are from Hampden Fest. These kids rocked it with the hula hoops (Way cuter than grown people trying to be noice on the hulas.)

Anyhoo, I'm thinking that it's a little late for bloggin', so I'm going to split. Good talk.

Love you long time,
xxoo,

Happy Sunday funday, y'all. This rain is making me feel so lazy, but I'm still going to get the work done. Like I said, vacation is over and it's time to stop playing around. So far, I've spent most of my day watching baseball and sifting through the bazillion photos that I took at Hampden Fest yesterday. In a minute I'm going to switch to Dexter and painting...maybe eat a steak, but I thought I'd share a few pics first.

These photos are from a quick stop by Jordan Bernier's wave skate ramp. The ramp, that was originally constructed to be part of the midway at 2010's ArtScape, found it's second home on "The Avenue" at Hampden Fest yesterday. Check it. I'll have more for you tomorrow, buddies.

Ex and Oh I gotta go,
Love,

Alright, alright. I guess summer vacation is officially over and it's time to get back to business. This month I'll have posts with new paintings, Hampden Fest, new Portrait Profiles, and Pavement in Central Park to name a few.

Stay tuned and see ya soon,
