Things are pretty cool here. You know, I'm just getting my annual holiday Martha Stewart on. I'm not going to tell you about the crafts that I've been making because that would be boring and I would seem like a way crazy cat lady. Not the image I'm going for...

In other news, thanks to you, Fitzbomb won the Mobby for Best Art & DIY blog sponsored by the Baltimore Sun. I got that fancy flier and some free advertising in The Sun online. Sweet. And thanks.

I have photos from Emily Rabbit's BBC pre-TG party that I will post later...Also, I LOVE holiday parties and I'll be attending a bunch. Hopefully people will bring it and I'll get lots of good pics.

Hangin' With Roky Erickson

Last night I went to The Otto Bar to see Roky Erickson and Arbouetum.

While, no one can really "meet" Roky Erickson in this point of his life, I came kind of close. It was exciting. It was awesome.

When you get the chance to meet a legend, it's pretty sweet. You are well aware that they barely register you standing next to them. And it's still nice like that. Just sayin'.

Anyhoo...Sorry to anyone who missed this show. It was the best show that I have seen in FOREVER. So good.

Man, this weekend wore me out! Between all the Movin' like Berney (see clip below) and running around that I did, I'm glad this week will be so low key! It was fun though, too fun.

This week I will be chillin', voting, bugging you to vote for me for the Mobbies (blog awards), going to see The Wiz (again) at Center Stage, taking my niece on a tour at Ace of Cakes, prolly lay around drinking wine, keeping it real, more moving like Berney, etc, etc...
