Pretty much since I left for New York my painting stride has had a wrench thrown in it. I didn't paint too much while I was there, and then I returned home to dealing with taxes, an audit, and, perhaps the most time consuming and mentally challenging, a drug addicted and homeless 25yo brother.
PAUSE. And note: I don't mention this to be about "sharing" or boo-hooing, or being despy in a search of pity eyes. It's just what's going on these days. If I see you in public, and I haven't mentioned this to you in person, don't worry, we DON'T need to talk about it. I'm good.
Commission Painting
In the last week or so I'm FINALLY getting back into the studio. I'm mostly finishing up commissions, and am not quite back to my 40-50 hour week, but it's good to be working.
Commission Painting
And to be less Debbie Downer, I've also been distracted with things like baseball, reading a lot of books, and planning my summer trips to Vegas and Miami (and going to the gym so much to get ready to lay by the pool with a pina colada.)
Painting In-progress
Here's to being productive, not being boring (I think I need to amend this post soon), pools, crystal light margaritas, baseball, being sweaty (in a fun, not totally gross way,) getting a tite summer body, and having all of the fun this summer.
See you sooner than later,
-Fitz
