It's February already? I mean, it's over a week into the month of lovers and chocolate...and my birthday...already? Time flies when you're painting all day. Really, days melt into one another, and before I know it, it's the weekend again. I guess one can't complain about that kind of work week. Anyhoo.....
Here's what's new!
The CENTERSTAGE Welcome Kwame magazine is floating around Charm City these days. Charisse sure knows how to design a campaign... I hear there is even an Addy nomination in it for her. I should note that all photography for the magazine was done by Dean Alexander, and the photos above are my sub-par shots of the magazine. You should really pick one up and see the photos in person.
I've managed to find balance, and have been splitting my week between commissions and personal work as of late. Here are my latest commission pieces...paintings #6, #7, and #9 of 2012.
I'm also working on a painting of artist, Bonnie Lane. Here is a sneak peek at her leather jacket. I'll reveal the rest of the painting when I publish her installment of Do You Want To Be Famous?
Other than that, I've sucked it up and made it through three applications, and have 2 or 3 to go.
Tonight I'll probably head down to Annapolis for the Emily Rabbit/Spankrock DJ set at Tsunami, so maybe I'll have a nice On the Town post for you soon.
Well, that's a wrap.
Peace and Love,
-Fitz
